assets should buy your lifestyle.
Not the other way around.

Slavik Lund is a real estate investor, mortgage broker, and operator based in Anchorage, Alaska, but those titles don't fully capture what he actually does.
On any given day you might find him filming a video in front of a fourplex, breaking down a deal in real time, or talking through strategy with someone trying to figure out their next move. None of it is for show. It's how he approaches everything: out in the open, on purpose, and a little unconventional.
The playbook most people were handed
- save more.
- spend less.
- wait longer.
The idea
Slavik's work centers on one core idea: most people have been handed the wrong financial playbook. He teaches something different: how to acquire assets that produce income, starting with small multifamily properties. His specialty is helping people use a two-to-four unit home they live in to eliminate their housing expense and start building real leverage early in life.
The proof
He didn't arrive at this from a textbook. He spent eight years in the Army National Guard, which is how he paid for school, and bought his first fourplex at 20. That building became the foundation for a rental portfolio built over time, and the place he learned how cash flow, tax strategy, and leverage work in practice, not just on paper. Real estate ultimately gave his family options, including the ability for his wife to step away from work and be home with their kids.
He brings that same lens to the people he works with. It's less about the transaction and more about helping them think in portfolios, time horizons, and long-term alignment.
The platform
Outside of lending, Slavik is building a media and education platform around real estate, fatherhood, and personal agency. Through YouTube, short-form video, and his letters, he talks to people who feel like the traditional path isn't working but don't have a better one yet. His tone is straightforward, occasionally sarcastic, and grounded in real experience over hype.
Home
At home, he's a husband and a father of two young boys with a third on the way, and that role increasingly shapes how he thinks about time, responsibility, and what it actually means to build wealth.
money isn't the goal. it's a tool for flexibility, presence, and control.
Everything he builds, from his business to his content to the systems behind them, is guided by one belief:
assets should buy your lifestyle, not the other way around.
